ABOUT THE ARTIST

Enhancing the elegance of your home

Cindy is a remarkable artist. Her passion and creativity have led her to create breathtaking works of art that are both visually stunning and emotionally evocative.

Fused glass, also known as kiln-formed glass, is a delicate and intricate craft that involves the fusion of multiple layers of glass through the intense heat of a kiln. This process allows Cindy to mold and shape the glass, creating intricate patterns and designs that are truly one-of-a-kind. With her meticulous attention to detail, she expertly combines colors, textures, and forms to create mesmerizing compositions that come to life with every glimmer of light.

Committed to constantly pushing creative boundaries, Cindy experiments with various techniques and incorporates a range of materials into her glass creations. Whether it is using metal accents, incorporating other art mediums, or utilizing unconventional materials, her works always bring forth a sense of innovation and exploration.

Cindy began her work with glass as a stained glass artist in 1980. After teaching school for 44 years and raising a family, she bought a glass fusion kiln in 2017. Cindy took classes at the John C. Campbell Folk Art School in Brasstown, North Carolina. She also learned on-line from the Glasshoppa, Jim Matthews. Cindy loves to learn and loves to teach.
